History: Rich grew up in South Wales near to Cardiff but moved to Bournemouth at 18 to take a university degree in Design Engineering. During this time Rich took to riding a scooter and became hooked on 2-wheels. His first job after graduating was with Three Cross Motorcycles where he got to enjoy Ducati's, Benelli's and MV Agusta's. It was at Three Cross that he and Ian hatched the stupid idea of going motorcycle racing. Rich moved away from the motorycle industry at the end of 2004 when he took a more engineering based job in the field of residential electronics, but he hopes to return one day.

After competing from 2003 until the end of 2006 on supersport spec machinery (CBR600 & R6) Rich took a couple of years off to set up a company specialising in the custom design and installation of home cinema and automation systems. Whatever spare time/money he has been able to liberate has gone towards building a Minitwins racer which he hopes will make its debut before the end of 2009. If all goes to plan his eyes will be firmly on competing for a full season in 2010.
